so i thought it was high time i joined this tribe! actually the "high time" was also during the b-day celebration. :-) that's one thing that's great about being 50. no one questions wheteher you know what you're doing anymore. they all assume either you do, or you're crazy, or if it has always worked for you, it probably will keep working in the future.

plus, i've started saying what there used to be, so i know i've reached "maturity". "see that shopping center across the street? that used to be an orchard, then it used to be a car lot, now it's a shopping center". the more "used to be's" you know, the more you can bother the young generation (who really don't know very much about anything, do they?) :-)

when are everyone else's birthdays? has anyone else just 'crossed the line', like me?
