Being an "Old Head" is cool.
The young folks gives me my props and the elders now speak to me with more respect for my opinion.
I can wear what I want and not feel self conscious about how it looks because I know who I am.
I can always blame it on "Menopause"!
Being a matriarch is the best!
Sex is better.
Periods are lesser.
I get better Birthday presents.
Most of all but certainly far from least, I'm happy because I'm still here, Oh, but for the grace of God! I'm happy that I'm enjoying God's favor.

I too love my age. I loved being 50, not sure about 51 yet. I am experiencing.......a change of life. Yep we guys get it too, i admit it....

I love to experince the beauty and gracefulness of an older couple. I love to watch a mature woman carry on in a _______ way.

Aw what a sensual treat....Old fools can't compete, less brothas to compete, the old chicks play too hard to get....however. It's what I'm told by the single brothas....

That is All Right & Hilarious
I think being over 50 our humour becomes what seems sardonic but is actualyy a been there done it, if you can't laugh at the bad you ain't no Optimist kid.
Once when I was young & eager I decided to interview the wealthy people I knew to find out 'how' they did it - got rich. & the ones that made their own wealth said "Be able to laugh at yrself & joke about the rest", "keep Yr sense of humour"; stuff like that. It really did change my personality, though I never got money rich; quite the contrary.
But it ties in with Wonders lists. Being over 50 gives you Lots to Laugh about!!!

& I love being over 50 cz I'm getting my body parts tuned up, overhauled, renewed & replaced while I'm still young enough to take on the next decades after a lil health time out.

I think we'd be released 1st by kidnabbers cz we can relate to their desperation on a gut level & talk to them concernedly inot giving us up or I will go meno on you ((((*o*))))

Well I love 50 because ..... I feel like i've been given a get outta jail free card!!!!

Not gonna do the overall (like above) on my body....just exercies and eat right w/ the occassional gorge (like today on whole wheat bread!!!).

I love that I can party hardier than the young folks cuz I've learned how to drink all night long with no hangover and not getting sick (bottle of water in between each drink!!!!). And as I've told many a youngsters...... there's a thing or 2 we could teach 'em.... but NNNNNAAAAAAH!!!!

It's wonderful after 50 that I can still have screaming good sex, survive a breakup (actually my b/f dumped me.....sniff), have my heart broken and still have fun, go out and enjoy life.

          Who here FEELS 50? I know I don't. I sometimes have to really focus and say....welll yea, I'm 52. ;-)

          Happy St. Paddy's day everyone!!!!

Now 51 I've notice how some women continue to give off lasting beauty in the way they look, carry, take care of themselves and express hope and love inspite of living through the ups and downs of the boomer generation.

You've come a long way baby! And you're still boomer beautiful.

Because.....I feel I can say and be what I am, and not worry if anyone likes it or not. Two weeks ago my girlfriend grabbed both of my shoulders after a dance/exercise class and giggled as she asked " when are you going to start acting and looking your age?" I wondered what her idea of that is because I am what I am, and so glad to be moving and walking here and there, and enjoying all the senses that are functioning. Plan to do so for many decades hence.

Hi Bob, maybe that " old chicks" know what they want and are not playing hard to get. Just like "old fools", time is precious, and frankly, lots of us enjoy solitude and privacy.

Ahh, isn't it nice to have these blessings? I am so glad to roll out after resting and be able to do the daily tasks, too. Bruises?I got em, mostly from running into those immovable objects that pop out of nowhere in particular. I am being much more cautious on the stairs these days in addition to looking seriously at a new vitamin product labeled " Senior Moment"...wish I had thought of that
